Pancit

Bringing food and ideas from different cultures into the classroom is a fun way to expose the children to new and exciting things. This past week we decided to have to children help make a Filipino dish called pancit.

We found our recipe:

We invited the children to help prepare the vegtables.

Working hard at developing those fine motor skills.

The children also tried some of the vegtables while they were cutting.

"This is hard to cut!"

All ready for cooking. 

Yum!! Ready to eat. 

All the children tried the pancit... and almost all the children asked for a second bowl full!

Adventure Playground

Our first time playing in the Adventure Playground. The children found so many places to explore together. There was a lot of cooperation in the children's play as they discovered and explored their new environment.
