We were so very excited to find a frog while exploring the park. He was hiding in the rocks by a little puddle of water!
We talked about how to hold a frog so that we wouldn't hurt it. Then we got to hold him if we wanted to. Not everyone did but we each got a chance to look at him and see how he jumped.
A nice place to rest!!!
Once everyone that wanted to hold the frog got a chance, we put it back in the wet area so he could live happily in nature.
We were still very interested in what he would do so we sat around and watched him.
We love the outdoor classroom!
